Club membership


Membership applications are now due for the year 2023-24. Full (registered) membership of Dartford beekeepers confers automatic membership if the Kent Bee-keepers' Association and the British Beekeepers Association. Membership is annual starting in October. This year existing members who wish to renew can do so online using the link emailed to them, but those who wish to apply in the usual way may fill out this form:

BBKA insurance is Public Liability insurance for damage to property in connection with Beekeeping activities and Products Liability insurance relating to sale of hive products. Bee Disease Insurance covers the beekeeper for destruction of bees and equipment by the authorities because of notifiable diseases such as European or American foulbrood.

New applicants joining after January should use the part-year membership form and can pay £27.50 for all the benefits above except BeeCraft magazine, which can optionally be purchased for £2.29 per month.
